How long does a spray tan last?
A spray tan tends to last anywhere 5 to 7 days, depending on your aftercare and frequency of exfoliating. It's possible for your spray tan to last up to 12 days if you take extra good care of your skin.
What do I wear during a spray tan appointment?
What you feel most comfortable tanning in - nude, topless, or full bikini.
Most babes tan nude to avoid the tan lines. If you prefer a tan line, we recommend a thin strong thong. Most people spray tan without a bra, but if you must wear one, we recommend a strapless bra or bandeau.
For the boys: Minimal clothing, such as boxers or briefs.
How far in advance should I book my glow before an event?
We recommend getting your sunless glow anywhere from 1-3 days prior to an event. Keep in mind that day #1 of the tan will be the most 'dramatic' and you will feel darker than you are used to. If you are getting a tan for a big event (wedding etc.), We recommend getting a trial tan a least 3 weeks before to test what 'day' of your tan you enjoy most so you can plan accordingly.
How long does an appointment take?
Its take about 30-45 mins with set up and take down per appointment, additional time needed for BFF glows and glow party.
What is the difference between an Classic Glow & an Express Glow?
The main difference between a classic and express glow is the time you must wait before you can take your initial shower to rinse off the first layer of solution (cosmetic bronzers).
Classic Glow - this solution takes
8-12 hours to develop, client that are comfortable sleeping in the solution will pick this option.
Express Glow- this solution can be rinsed off in as little as 2-5 hours (depends on level of darkness you want to achieve) - most popular!
What should I wear immediately after my appointment?
Dark, loose, comfy clothing. We don't want anything too tight to rub at your tan before your initial rinse off. Some bronzers may transfer onto clothing (they wash off) so it's best to keep the colour scheme dark.
Can I work out after my first initial rinse?
To achieve the best results avoid working out 24/48hrs after your appointment. And 12hrs prior to her appointment.
Can I still tan in the sun with a spray tan?
Yes! UV rays will still get you tanned even with a spray tan on, a spray tan may even pretend your skin a bit, however; please always wear SPF.
Mineral SPF are preferred (stay away from aerosol).
Can I get my nails done after my appointment?
We highly discourage getting a mani or pedi after your spray tan appointment because of all the rubbing, oils and exfoliating that happens at a nail salon (can rub off the tan!) Please get them done before.
A spray tan should be your last beauty appointment.
What should I avoid after getting a spray tan?
You should avoid bathing and activities that make you sweat heavily for at least 24 hours following a spray tan. And because chlorine can quickly break down a spray tan, we suggest avoiding chlorinated swimming pools for long periods of time.
What is the cancellation policy?
A fee of $40 will be charged if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled time. A fee of the FULL appointment cost will be charged if the appointment is cancelled within 12 hours of the scheduled time.
More than 15 minutes late to an appointment it will automatically be treated as a no-show and will be charged. All no-show appointments and same day cancellations (within 24 hrs of appointment time) will be charged the full appointment amount.
All rescheduling must be done 24 hours prior to appointments.
